Welcome to My World of Surreal Landscapes...

San Antonio artist David Guerrero has been painting and teaching art for the past thirty years. He recently retired from Northside ISD, where he taught art at the high school and middle school levels. His work is regularly shown at The River Art Group Gallery in La Villita, various art shows and other venues around the state.

Bright, vibrant colors and intricate details are characteristic in David’s work. "Hopefully my creations will give the viewer a feeling of wanting to live or be there. My landscapes are neither here nor there because they could be anywhere. My trees are distinctive and have a surreal quality about them. My inspiration has come from living near the hill country for the past twenty-five years and my roots in west Texas. My art and the process of my technique are unique, and I hope to continue creating, growing, and experimenting."

David is also owner and operator of Designer Mats and Custom Framing in San Antonio. His skill in custom matting techniques is evident throughout his artwork and framing business.
